Being an owner of this award winning car may have people asking you questions. When you drive a Sonata, people may assume that you know something that they don't.

The new 2012 Hyundai Accent was recently tested out by auto experts and car reviewers around the country. The verdict is clear: the new Hyundai Accent doesn’t just look good on paper – it also delivers out on the road.
This model is available in either subcompact, five-door hatchback or a sedan style, and has great design from bumper to bumper. However, the great design elements apply just as much to the car’s inner workings as to the interior and exterior appeal. Under the hood is a high-tech 1.6-liter, 138-horsepower, four-cylinder all-alloy engine featuring direct injection and variable induction. The result is a high-quality vehicle that is both powerful and efficient. Speaking of efficiency, drivers of the new Hyundai Accent can expect serious savings at the pump. This sleek car boasts 40-mpg on the highway, even though it also offers more cargo volume than its competitors.
Another important feature of the new Accent: its price. Hyundai beats the competition once again in this area by pricing the Accent at just $15,195. And even that standard model price comes complete with six airbags, stability control, ECO mode, satellite radio, Mp3 and USB ports and much, much more.

Between its many popular models and a slew of awards, Hyundai has been having a banner year. Adding to this momentum is the enormous success of the new Equus, a vehicle which has garnered great reviews from a number of experts. Recently, the Hyundai Equus earned another award to secure its success – the vehicle was voted as the number one large premium car in the annual APEAL Study, which measures the satisfaction of drivers and vehicle quality.
A number of important factors are measured in the APEAL Study, including the exterior and interior of the vehicle, driving dynamics, safety and fuel economy. Not surprisingly, the Hyundai Equus earned top marks in all these categories which resulted in a final score that was a full 335 points above the average in its category. The Equus came in ahead of many other well-known models (which, incidentally, are mostly priced well above the Equus), including the BMW 7 Series, the Audi A8, the Porsche Panamera, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the Lexus LS. In fact, in the 16 years that the APEAL Study has been completed, only one vehicle has scored higher than the Equus did this year. The results confirm that the Hyundai Equus is undoubtedly one of the best cars of the year and is sure to make any driver satisfied beyond their expectations.

Auto industry analyst TrueCar recently released their monthly report card on several major auto brands success in the market. Using eight different factors to measure performance, including pricing, sales, incentives, customer loyalty and market share, only one of the many brands surveyed received a perfect A+ score – Hyundai.
The Korean automaker has taken a huge share of the market recently, with a projected 9% global market share projected for the months of June. Those numbers haven’t come out of nowhere, however. Hyundai has been making a concerted effort to rise to the number one worldwide automaker ranking, and the changes they’ve made have had a noticeable effect on their sales. In May 2011, for example, Hyundai’s sales shot up to over 115,000 units, a 43.4 percent increase from May 2010. Such dramatic changes have left other automakers in the dust when it comes to global domination.
In its report card, TrueCar noted that Hyundai had lowered incentives spending and inventory turn rates. Meanwhile, they’ve made their cars more affordable and safer, which in turn has increased customer loyalty. These factors ensure that Hyundai will continue to top the market not only in the next few months, but likely for several years to come.

The daily commute is a necessary evil for many of us. Whether you drive ten minutes or an hour each way to and from work, it pays to get a car that not only keeps you safe and comfortable but also helps you to spend less on gas.
According to Forbes, there are several cars that meet these standards, but only a few which really stand out. The Hyundai Sonata, the Volkswagen Golf TDI and the Volkswagen Jetta Wagon TDI were each cited by Forbes as some of the top cars in this category. These vehicles also made a list of great picks from Consumer Reports.
The Hyundai Sonata has all the “it” factors when it comes to a great commuter vehicle: competitive gas mileage, plenty of interior space and good safety ratings. However, it trumps most of the competition with it’s amazing base price of $19,395. With that price, you can bet that the Sonata is one of the best bargains on the list.
As for the VW Golf and the VW Jetta Wagon, a great highway mileage of 49 mpg was found for each, which helped catapult them towards the top of the list. Meanwhile, plenty of interior space keeps drivers comfy during their commute. As for the TDI status of each vehicle, Forbes found that the diesel technology is 20% more efficient and tends to have a high resale value later on. These two VW vehicles are just one more example that savings and efficiency can be achieved in more ways than just hybrid and electric formats.

Hyundai is one of the fastest-growing automakers in the U.S. in terms of sales. In 2010, Hyundai sold an amazing 540,000 vehicles. This marked a 24% jump up from the 2009 sales, with another similar jump expected for 2011 sales. The sales in 2010 increased Hyundai’s U.S. market share to 4.6%, showing that they have created a real foothold in American auto sales.
As Hyundai’s sales continue to skyrocket, the automaker’s executives are looking at ways to increase production. One of the top ideas for production is to create a second assembly plant in the United States. This plant would be the automaker’s second in the U.S., with their current Montgomery, Alabama plant being the first. According to company execs, the Alabama plant is already running at full capacity, with two 10-hour shifts every weekday and numerous weekend shifts.
For now, Hyundai is experiencing increasing success with its existing production facilities. The demand for the redesigned Elantra and the Sonata is particularly high. However, the limits on production could soon be a restraint on the company’s sales if the numbers continue to rise. For example, with the current production facilities available, the production capacity for Hyundai’s U.S. sales is around 600,000. If another plant were to be built, it would give Hyundai the freedom to continue their rapidly increasing sales margin without worrying about a lack of product.

The new Hyundai Equus has the auto industry abuzz. The luxury vehicle has been compared to the likes of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the BMW 7-series, which has left auto critics wondering if Hyundai will be the next big luxury automaker on the market. The Equus may be the automaker’s first serious foray into the luxury world, but make no mistake: this vehicle has impressed nearly every major auto critic in the country, and drivers will surely create even more of a stir once they get their hands on it.
The Equus has all the luxury features drivers expect, but it also takes some unique twists on the standard upscale vehicle. Despite its powerful V8 engine, the drive is virtually noiseless thanks to tripe-laminated acoustic glass and four-wheel air suspension. Compared to other luxury vehicles, which usually allow some noise to give drivers an auditory cue to the car’s power, the Equus is more like a vacation escape than a drag race.
As for technology, the Equus packs almost every new feature drivers could want. Adaptive cruise control, adaptive headlamps, front side-view cameras and a lane-departure warning system come standard. An amazing 608-watt, 17-speaker surround sound system is one of the best on the market. In the center console, the Driver Information System provides a convenient hub for navigation, audio and cell phone functions.
Despite all the talk about the relaxing drive and techie features, the big kicker with the Equus is the price. At just $58,000 for the standard model, drivers are incredulous at first. However, this is where Hyundai excels – making great cars for much, much less than the competition.

Staying in touch no longer refers to weekly phone calls, letters or even email in some cases. As the pace of communication continues to speed up, more social media tools are being developed to facilitate it. In just a few years, an overwhelming number of people have gone from using these tools only on a home or work computer to using them on their cell phones. It’s created a huge shift in communication which has caused even small lapses in contact to get us out of touch.
One of the places where many people feel disconnected is in their car. With cell phone bans on the roads and the increasing awareness of driving-while-texting dangers, more people feel that their car has become a dead zone for communication. The newest technology is changing this, however. Now, social media apps are being built into many new vehicles, making it safe and efficient to keep in touch while driving.
Voice commands are just one element of this new technology. Drivers can now make calls, change the radio station or even adjust the volume just by saying it out loud in their car. Smartphones can be linked to a car to remotely start the engine, to unlock or lock the doors or even to receive a diagnostic overview of the car’s fuel supply, oil levels, etc. Currently, OnStar is working on an app that would allow drivers to send text messages and create Facebook updates using their Bluetooth. Drivers can even link their vehicle to a friend’s and have the navigation system create directions to get to that person, or use real-time data to avoid traffic jams.
The possibilities are endless, but the result is inevitable. Much like smartphones have become an integral part of our daily lives, so will technology-enhanced vehicles that make communication while driving easier (and safer) than ever.

Though safety testing is always important to drivers, the input of insurance companies also ranks highly among prospective car buyers. That’s why the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently released a list of the 66 vehicles it considered the “Top Safety Picks” of the 2011 model year. This list represents the cars considered to have the best overall safety on the roads, something every consumer looks for in a vehicle.
Hyundai and Volkwagen were both well-represented on the list. Among the 66 vehicles included, Hyundai received four nods for its Genesis sedan, Sonata midsize, and Santa Fe and Tucson sport utility vehicles. Meanwhile, Volkswagen was also a major contender this year, with six of their vehicles making the list: the Jetta and Jetta SportWagen, the Golf and GTI small cars, and the Touareg and Tiguan SUVs.
Hyundai and VW were the two brands that received the most honors, a fact that car buyers will no doubt take into consideration during the upcoming year. As both automakers have set their sights on gaining more of the American market, this news couldn’t come at a better time. In addition to all the positive press these brands have received for the style, driving performance, power and reliability of their vehicles, they can now tout the title of safest cars as well.

For years, the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry have led the midsize sedan market. But recently, a new contender has come to the forefront. The Hyundai Sonata is quickly becoming one of the most popular cars in America. In fact, the rise in this car’s popularity has been dramatic to say the least. Between October 2009 and October 2010, sales of the Sonata jumped up 124.7%. Additionally, the car was ranked as the 8th most popular car in the U.S. according to sales in October.
This rise in sales and popularity is anything but an accident or a surprise to Hyundai. The automaker has been making changes and taking serious steps in recent years in order to increase not only their sales but also the quality of their vehicles. The company is striving to appeal to the American market by offering safe, efficient and attractive cars at affordable prices. The work has paid off as Hyundai continues its dramatic ascent to the top of the U.S. market.
Hyundai’s increasing popularity has also been seen with other models like the Accent, Tucson and Santa Fe. Overall, the automaker’s sales rose by 37.6% between October 2009 and 2010. At this time, it’s obvious that Hyundai is no longer poised to become a major contender in the American markets. Instead, they have finally become one.

You have to admit that our American car companies have made some amazing strides in the last year. GM in particular has come out with some high-quality vehicles, including the Buick Regal. The announcement of the new all-electric Chevrolet Volt has also brought them a fair amount of attention. However, some of this progress pales in comparison to Hyundai, who’s sales growth of 24% in the last year seems like an impossible dream for some of our American automakers.
Hyundai has certainly set the pace for the auto industry. Cranking out one quality vehicle after another, this brand has somehow found a way to keep efficiency, style, power and affordability all wrapped up into one neat little package. There’s no question why Hyundai has become such a powerhouse in the auto industry; they’re going full-speed ahead in their race to claim the number-one spot in the world, and it shows in their commitment to pleasing customers.
What’s even more amazing is the transformation which Hyundai has undergone in just the last ten years. In 2001, the automaker ranked 32 out of 37 global auto brands in a study by J.D. Power. In three years, they boosted that ranking to seven, and now stand among the top three non-premium brands.
Parkway Motorcars is especially proud to offer such an extensive line of Hyundai vehicle, including the popular Elantra and Sonata models. We’d love to answer any questions you may have. Ten years ago, Hyundai was struggling to obtain worldwide recognition. Though the South Korean automaker had started to establish a presence in Asian markets, it wasn’t always well regarded stateside. However, the company has undergone serious restructuring to emerge as one of the top automakers in the world in the last few years. This startling success has taken other competitors by surprise. Just a decade ago, Hyundai was an afterthought for most automakers; today, they are a serious competitor that is effectively keeping all other manufacturer’s on their toes.
One example of Hyundai’s rise to the top is the Sonata, a recent model that has taken off in the last year. This model has been proven to be extremely reliable and wildly popular. Between in just one year, the U.S. sales of the Hyundai Sonata increased by over 55 percent. Today, the Sonata poses a threat to other popular midsized sedans from VW, Buick and Toyota.
The next few years will bring plenty of excitement for Hyundai as they vie with Toyota for the ranking of the world’s number one automaker. Can they do it? Many auto industry experts say yes, but it’s up to the customer to decide. Southern California residents can find a complete selection of great Hyundai vehicles, including the new Sonata Turbo and Sonata Hybrid, at Parkway Motors in Valencia.

Automakers are at odds with what’s more important in a vehicle. Is it fuel-efficiency or sheer power which has a more significant impact on drivers? Hyundai’s new 2011 Sonata Turbo addresses both of these concerns by combining a turbocharged, direct-injection four-cylinder with fuel economy any midsize sedan owner could envy. In fact, this new Hyundai boasts 22 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.
This unique combination of efficiency and power will do more than just appease drivers. It also gives similar models from VW, Buick and Toyota a run for their money. Specifically, the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Turbo has a fuel economy with which a similar car with a V-6 just can’t compete. Hyundai also claims this model has more torque and horsepower to boot.
There must be a catch, right? In terms of shortcomings, the 2011 Sonata Turbo may have a few, but nothing that should worry potential buyers too much. For example, the 0-to-60 speed tests placed the Sonata Turbo somewhere around eight seconds, which isn’t especially fast for this type of vehicle. It’s a small sacrifice for the great fuel economy though. What you get with this car, in essence, is a great money-saver with all the power you’d expect from a V-6. Not a bad deal at all.
If you’re interested in the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Turbo, come to our Parkway Hyundai location in Valencia.

As far as midsize sedans go, the 2011 Hyundai Sonata has seen plenty of success since its release. However, there two new releases from Hyundai that offer customers even more options when purchasing a Sonata.
The first is the New Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. By the end of 2010, customers can expect to see this new model on our Parkway Hyundai lot. For those interested in an efficient, environmentally friendly vehicle, this car offers 40 mpg on the highway and lithium-polymer batteries. Fans of the green-car movement are extremely excited about the release, as are Hyundai followers.
There’s another addition expected in the Hyundai family, however. The Sonata 2.0T Turbo has the added power of a 2.4-liter turbo-charged four-cylinder engine, offering a staggering 274 horsepower. Think they can’t top that? Add a 34-mpg EPA highway rating to the mix and you have what John Krafcik, CEO for the American unit of Hyundai, calls the “perfect trifecta.”
Check out these two new Hyundai Sonata editions at Parkway Hyundai in Valencia starting this fall, or browse our current selection of new and used Hyundai vehicles online.

It appears as though Hyundai may have outdone themselves again. With the announcement of the new 2011 Hyundai Equus, this automaker is well on its way to setting the new standard in luxury large sedans without the luxury price. It’s already available overseas, so experts have released several reviews and ratings in the previous months. As far as we know, this model should become available in the U.S. by the time 2011 rolls around.
Although the U.S. News & World Report confirms that most of the auto press has labeled the Equus as a huge gamble for the automaker, Hyundai has proven to car reviewers around the world that this sedan can certainly become a popular semi-luxury model. In Asian markets, it has done incredibly well. Now, as we anxiously await it’s arrival in U.S. showrooms, many wonder whether this model can stand up to its competitors, those being the likes of Mercedes S-Class, the BMW 7 Series and the Lexus LS – not very easy competition, to say the least.
We at Parkway Hyundai are thrilled with the new Equus. For drivers who seek out a luxury experience without the six-figure price tag, the 2011 Equus could be the perfect solution. Check back for more updates as we receive information about when the Equus will be available at the Parkway Hyundai in Valencia.

Edmunds.com is one of the most trusted and popular sites for researching a new car. But what if you’re in the market for a pre-owned vehicle? Comparing how vehicles were when they were new doesn’t give you the best idea of how they’ll hold up over time.
But Edmunds.com has you covered: they recently released their list of Used Car Best Bets for 2010, and two different models from our Santa Clarita Hyundai dealership topped their respective categories:
Edmunds.com praises the Elantra for its smooth ride and “peppy” performance paired with overall build quality, fuel economy, reliability, and good crash test ratings. They praise the Azera for its build quality, reliability, affordable luxury features, good crash test ratings, and smooth ride.
Both are available at our Santa Clarita Hyundai dealership, where we serve drivers from not only Santa Clarita and Valencia, but also Van Nuys, Granada Hills, Thousand Oaks, and other communities in and near San Fernando Valley.

There are many ways of assessing a new vehicle: you can ask the professionals, you can ask someone who owns one. Or you can ask both. Hyundai’s done incredibly well in two high-profile assessments lately – one by the experts, and one by real owners.
Both the 2010 Hyundai Genesis and 2011 Hyundai Sonata are available at our Valencia Hyundai dealership, where we’re proud to provide these awesome cars to drivers from Palmdale, Bakersfield, Lancaster, Santa Monica, Simi Valley, and many other area communities.

Yes, “cool.” The 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring was recently featured on Kelley Blue Book’s list of the “Coolest Cars Under $18,000” on KBB.com. The Elantra Touring was also named by KBB.com as a “Top 10 Family Car.” Say goodbye to soccer van clichés: with the Elantra Touring, you have a family car that’s also cool.
So, what did they like about the Elantra Touring? KBB.com’s editors praise its convenient hatchback, generous interior space (for both cargo and passengers), generous standard features (8 airbags and a great stereo), and a good sense of style. “The Hyundai Elantra Touring may be a wagon, but this athletic little hauler turns heads on the road,” they write.
We’re pretty big fans of the Elantra Touring ourselves. As a Santa Clarita Hyundai dealership, Parkway Hyundai is proud to provide drivers from San Fernando Valley, Granada Hills, Thousand Oaks, Van Nuys, and other nearby cities with great Hyundai vehicles like the Elantra Touring and others. To learn more about this car and others, browse our site or stop by in person – we’d love to have you!

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is one of the most esteemed safety institutions in the U.S., second only to (or perhaps equal with) the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. So when the 2010 Hyundai Genesis was announced as a Top Safety Pick in the rigorous IIHS assessment, this was an excellent accomplishment.
Even more impressive is the IIHS recommendation paired with NHTSA ratings: the Genesis sedan is one of very, very few vehicles to ear the maximum 5-star safety rating in every single category of crash tests.
The 2010 Hyundai Genesis sedan is designed with world-class safety features and design strategies that extend from passive to active, from the very frame of the vehicle itself to details like head restraints. It also includes ABS (with brake assist and electronic brake-force distribution), a strong collection of airbags (including side curtain in all rows), and electronic stability control.
The Genesis is also exceptionally well-styled and well-equipped. Learn more by taking one for a test drive at our Valencia Hyundai Dealership, where we serve drivers from Santa Monica, Simi Valley, Bakersfield, Lancaster, Palmdale, and everywhere in between.

Muscle cars get plenty of “head to head” competition with one another. It’s time the affordable family sedan be put to the test. It’s not a test of horsepower, but of real usability and appeal, for real families.
Cars.com set out to do just that, pitting 8 of the most popular family sedans available for $25,000 or lest against one another in both Standing Tests (first impressions, family comfort, child-safety seat accommodation, family features, and trunk) as well as driving tests (seating comfort, visibility, ride, acceleration, and braking).
Both professional reviewers and a real couple with two young kids tried out some of the biggest names on the road. Who won? The 2011 Hyundai Sonata, beating out popular names like the Nissan Altima, Honda Accord, Mazda6, Toyota Camry, and others.
What set the 2011 Sonata apart? Besides its style (which is an obvious advantage), everyone agreed that it provided exceptional value for the price compared to all of the others. “$22,745 for navigation and all the other goodies in such an attractive wrapper. None of the competitors came close,” one reviewer praised.
Want to see it for yourself? The 2011 Hyundai Sonata is in stock right now at our Santa Clarita Hyundai dealership, serving Thousand Oaks, San Fernando Valley, Van Nuys, Granada Hills, and many other nearby cities.

The 2011 Hyundai Sonata has been making massive waves across the country. One of the most stylish, competitive, and sophisticated sedans in a non-premium brand (yet offering near-premium amenities and a decidedly not-premium price), the ’11 Sonata has flown to the top of the charts (literally: it’s been the most-researched vehicle on Edmunds.com for 5 weeks in a row).
What makes a great car even more exciting? How about a hybrid version? Taking the already successful design, feel, and layout of the Sonata and adding even smarter mechanics is a great way to welcome the first Hyundai hybrid into the world. Needless to say, the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is, as it’s standard-gasoline sibling did, generating a lot of preview buzz.

As a Santa Clarita Hyundai dealership, we’re proud to provide vehicles that we can believe in. J.D. Power and Associates recently backed up (yet again) what we know first-hand to be true: that Hyundai is making very dependable vehicles, and consistently raising their own bar each year.
The Hyundai lineup’s been doing well in recent “Initial Quality” studies, which compare new vehicles to one another. (In the last study, Hyundai was the top of all non-premium brands.) But another recent honor—moving up 3 spots in the J.D. Power “Vehicle Dependability” study—shows that Hyundai quality is through and through. The study compares the number of problems or complaints per 100 vehicles over the first three years of ownership.
In addition to moving up 3 spots since last year, Hyundai also had 4 fewer problems than the industry average.
What does that mean for you? Well, it means that when you come to our Santa Clarita Hyundai dealership and test drive a 2010 Hyundai Elantra, Accent, Sonata, etc., (or the snazzy Genesis above), the experience you get behind the wheel won’t wear off any time soon.
Stop by for a test drive and see for yourself! We’re proud to serve drivers from Granada Hills, Thousand Oaks, Van Nuys, San Fernando Valley, and countless other nearby communities.

With Toyota’s reputation in serious question, auto writers and editors have been looking around, predicting who’s going to fill that void. Time and time again, one name comes up: “Hyundai’s hot,” writes Automotive News on autonews.com, “and not just because its Japanese rival is damaged.”
Hyundai’s proving its mettle in more ways than one:
Programs like America’s Best Warranty and Hyundai Assurance don’t hurt either. A 10 year/100,000 mile warranty is more than just smart coverage: it’s proof that the manufacturer has full confidence in the work they’ve done. Hyundai knows they’re doing this right.
If you want to see what Hyundai feels like behind the wheel, stop by our Santa Clarita and Valencia Hyundai dealership. We’ll gladly send you out on a test drive and introduce you to the 2010 Hyundai lineup.
Parkway Hyundai proudly serves Santa Monica, Simi Valley, Lancaster, Palmdale, Bakersfield, and drivers from many other nearby communities.

The 2010 Hyundai Elantra has a lot going for it. A small car (not Hyundai’s smallest – that’s the Accent) that has the interior space of a mid-size sedan, gets great fuel economy, has stellar safety ratings, and includes generous features for the price—we could spend a long time talking about how much we like the Elantra.
But you don’t have to just take our word for it. You can take the word of Consumer Reports, which just named the 2010 Hyundai Elantra the best model of the year among small sedans.
“It’s a solid, all-around car that’s relatively comfortable, quiet, and roomy, and provides good fuel economy and plenty of features for the price,” wrote Consumer Reports about the ’10 Elantra.
To be named to the Consumer Reports “Top Picks” list, a car must stack up in three areas: road test, reliability, and safety. In addition to the Elantra’s standard ABS and Electronic Stability Control, it features standard curtain airbags, ranks near the top of its class for overall drivability, and has a high reliability rating from actual Elantra owners.
Want to learn more about the 2010 Hyundai Elantra? Stop by our Santa Clarita Hyundai dealership, where we serve Granada Hills, Thousand Oaks, Van Nuys, and many other communities in and near Valencia and the San Fernando Valley.

KBB.com, run by Kelly Blue Book, holds a lot of clout, both online and off. So it means something when it names a vehicle in the top ten of all those on the road in any category.
Right now, we’re celebrating the latest award to add to Hyundai’s longer-than-long list of awards and commendations. KBB.com named the 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring to its list of “2010 Top 20 Family Cars.”
In a field full of SUVs and other large-scale vehicles, the Elantra Touring is refreshing. KBB.com’s editors herald the 2010 Touring for its “slew of safety features,” spacious and versatile interior, extra long warranty, and affordable starting price. Plus, they note, it’s “easy on gas and not afraid to have a little fun.”
The 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring is a sporty, hatchback version of the popular compact Elantra sedan. The Elantra Touring starts at $16,715 and gets up to 35 miles per gallon.
Explore the world from behind the wheel of a Hyundai Elantra Touring by taking the first step: stop by our Valencia Hyundai dealership. Quality and reliability don’t just matter: they matter a lot. That’s why we’re proud to offer some of the most trusted and well-received vehicles on the road at our Santa Clarita Hyundai dealership.
Hyundai was the most successful manufacturer in 2009, largely because they put so much energy and effort into crafting the highest quality vehicles they could. The result? Many awards, from industry gurus and real drivers alike.
One of the best of those awards went to the 2009 Hyundai Elantra: “Highest Ranked Compact Car in Initial Quality.” (From J.D. Power And Associates, one of the highest ranked and most trusted names in automotive reliability.)
What sets the Hyundai Elantra apart from its competition is a winning combination of quality mechanics, highly safety ratings, very good fuel economy, and a considerable amount of style and features for the money.
The 2010 Hyundai Elantra proves just as impressive. It has great safety features (six airbags and ABS are standard – rare in compact cars), gets up to 35 miles to the gallon, boasts more seating space and trunk room than its competitors, and has an MSRP starting at just $14,145.
Want to see the 2010 Hyundai Elantra for yourself? Stop by our Santa Clarita Hyundai dealership. Whether you’re for Van Nuys or Granada Hills, Thousand Oaks or anywhere else in or near the San Fernando Valley, we’d be proud to serve you and your family.

Last year, the Hyundai Genesis sedan won 2009 North American Car of the Year. It’s true—the Genesis has really been a game changer. But not just for 2009. Recently, CarsDirect named the Hyundai Genesis (and it’s athletic sibling, the Genesis Sedan) to their list of the “Top 10 Cars of the Decade.” The Genesis twins came in at #5 and share spots on the coveted list with other big-name developments like the Toyota Prius and MINI Cooper.
What makes the Genesis such a standout? Well, for one, it offers an unprecedented amount of power, style, and features for the price. This well-equipped, full-size sedan starts at $33,000, has a rear-wheel drive powertrain with 6-speed transmission and both V-6 and V-8 options.
We have several gorgeous, brand-new 2010 Hyundai Genesis sedans in stock right now.
At Parkway Hyundai, we proudly serve the communities of Granada Hills, Thousand Oaks, Van Nuys, and many more in and near the San Fernando Valley.

The 2011 Hyundai Sonata won’t be rolling off the line till the 3rd quarter of 2010, but already it’s generating a lot of stir. Officially introduced in mid-December, the all-new 2011 Sonata has been called a game-changing addition to the midsize sedan segment.
The new Sonata will have best-in-class fuel economy of 35 mpg in highway driving. That impressive mileage will come from a powerful yet intelligent direct-injection 4-cylinder engine (which will put out as much power as a V6). The Sonata has always been a well-equipped car, offering luxury amenities without the luxury price tag. It also receives high marks for interior space and cargo room.
You needn’t wait for the 2011 Sonata to have an excellent sedan at your fingertips. The 2010 Hyundai Sonata has also been incredibly well-received, and we have several excellent Sonatas available right now.

There’s no arguing fact: the 2010 Hyundai Genesis and 2010 Genesis Coupe have had an excellent year. Winning award after award (including North American Car of the Year, the biggest of all), the Genesis doesn’t need anything else on paper to prove how good it is on the road.
So technically, its most recent award (and probably last for 2009, given that the year is now counting down hours) isn’t on paper. It comes from Jalopnik.com, one of the edgiest (and perhaps mouthiest) auto blogs on the web. The 2010 Genesis Coupe was named to the blog’s “10 BEST Cars for 2009” list, which they self-describe as “cars we dig the most.”
We also ‘dig’ the 2010 Genesis Coupe. And we think you will, too. We have several in stock, so stop by any time you like to take a test drive and see what all the fuss is about.
As a dedicated Santa Clarita Hyundai dealership, Parkway Hyundai would be glad to help you with your purchasing, service, parts, and even financing needs. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff is on hand to help you with any part of the vehicle ownership process.
We proudly serve Granada Hills, Thousand Oaks, Van Nuys, and many other communities in and around the San Fernando Valley. So please stop by and visit us whenever you like; we’d be glad to get to know you and see how we can help.

Customers of all ages, looking for all sorts of things in a car, come to our Santa Clarita, CA, Hyundai dealership to find their perfect vehicle, and a lot of them are looking for a family car.
Making a good family car takes balancing quite a few different factors, and for 2009, Hyundai was presented the award for the 2009 Hyundai Sonata: the family car that delivers all around, and does so at the best price.
The award comes from the site ConsumerSearch.com, whose tagline is “Love What You Buy,” and we couldn’t agree more. In determining the ’09 Sonata as Best Budget Family Car, they pored through hundreds of reviews from experts, consumers, government agencies, and just about everything else you can think of to find the best overall vehicles.
They were looking for a family car that had a roomy, high quality interior; was well made and reliable; got good fuel mileage; came with lots of standard features; and had a long warranty (Hyundai is famous for offering 10 years and 100,000 miles, which is really hard to beat).
So the Sonata took the cake! And with a starting MSRP of $18,700-$26,550, the budget-friendly aspect of the award certainly rings true.
Want to take the Sonata for a test drive? Stop on by our Santa Clarita, CA, Hyundai dealership. Whether you’re from Van Nuys, Lancaster, Thousand Oaks, Granada Hills, or any other nearby community, we’d be glad to meet you. So give us a call or stop by whenever you’d like to ask questions or even take a test drive.

As a Valencia, CA, Hyundai dealer, we sell a lot of truly well-designed vehicles. But when one of them wins as many awards as the Hyundai Genesis has this year, we get especially excited.
The first big award (big is an understatement) was when the 2009 Hyundai Genesis was named North American Car Of The Year for its class. That’s a huge honor. Then it was called the “Most Ideal Vehicle” in its group by AutoPacific. And it’s won countless accolades from publications and review sites. (Cars.com, for one, named it “Best Value For The Boss” of 2009.)
And now, J.D. Power and Associates, the most revered firm in the industry, released their rankings for New and Redesigned Vehicles of 2009, and the Hyundai Genesis once again came out on top.
For a car to win so many awards in its very first year on the market is no small feat. The Genesis has gotten high marks for its quality interior, powerful engine, safety, and all around fine tuning (that includes both under the hood AND aesthetically).
And right here on the lot of our Valencia, CA, Hyundai dealership, the 2009 Hyundai Genesis is one of the most enjoyable test drives you’ll find.
Whether you’re from Simi or San Fernando Valley, Santa Monica, Palmdale, Bakersfield, or anywhere in between, please stop by and visit us. We’re excited about the cars we sell and we’d love to answer any questions you have.

Between rising gas prices and concerns about the environment, there are a lot of reasons to buy a fuel efficient vehicle. We offer dozens of those vehicles at our Santa Clarita, CA, Hyundai dealership. Hyundai has one of the most fuel-efficient lineups on the market, with almost all models getting mileage in the upper twenties, plus several in the lower thirties
But now there’s something more. Hyundai Assurance (the Hyundai warranty program, famous for its 10 year, 100,000 mile guarantee) has added a new branch:
Hyundai Assurance Gas Lock guarantees a year’s worth of gas at just $1.49 per gallon, no matter how much gas prices fluctuate. Simply buy a new Hyundai (almost all models qualify, including the popular Accent, Sonata, Elantra, Elantra Touring, Tiburon, Santa Fe, Tucson, Entourage, and Veracruz), register your credit card with the program, and they’ll send you a new card to use for gas: you’ll be charged $1.49 per gallon, no matter what, and Hyundai covers the rest.
The majority of Hyundai’s fuel efficient vehicles also qualify for the Cash for Clunkers program, so if you buy them when trading in a gas guzzler, you’ll get another $4500 off the price. So pay less on the lot, fill up at the pump less often, and pay less when you fill up. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Ready to take a test drive at our Santa Clarita, CA, Hyundai dealership? Our customers live everywhere from Van Nuys, Lancaster, Granada Hills, Thousand Oaks, and many other surrounding communities. We’d love to talk with you about a Hyundai to see how we can help.

Cash for Clunkers, the new government initiative to help consumers make the switch to more fuel efficient vehicles, has already been a huge success. So much so, in fact, that Phase 1 of the program lasted just a few days before reaching its quota of 250,000 vehicles.
Here’s how the offer works: you bring your “clunker” or “gas guzzler” into a dealership, and trade it in for a new vehicle that gets better gas mileage, and you get a $4500 credit toward that vehicle. The program was designed to improve the country’s carbon footprint, as well as encourage people to support the economy by buying new cars.
Everyone expected the program to be popular, but no one could have predicted quite how fast that popularity would spread. With the funding for Phase 1 (those first 250,000) already completely dispersed to consumers, there were reports that the program was finished.
But today, Congress moved to add another $2 billion in funding to the Cash for Clunkers program.
The Hyundai corporation has been keeping track of the “clunkers” it collects versus the more fuel efficient vehicles those customers drive away in. The result? A 59 percent gain in fuel economy, which means as much as $680 in gas a year, per vehicle, or $170 million across the whole program. That’s a win for everyone!
Want to get in on the Cash for Clunkers action? Now is a great time to get a fuel efficient Hyundai, or other vehicle at Parkway Motorcars, in Valencia, CA. Whether you’re from Bakersfiled, Santa Monica, the San Fernando Valley, Simi Valley, Bakersfield, Palmdale, or any of the surrounding communities, we’re proud to be your local provider of automotive service and sales.
To find out if your vehilce qualifies for the Cash for Clunkers Program,
contact Parkway Hyundai Exceutive Manager Jim Ferraccioli direct at 888-293-3986.
J.D. Power and Associates knows a thing or two about cars. From vehicles that perform best over the long term to how well a vehicle does straight out of the gate, the firm has a long reputation of providing quality insight into which vehicles are worth your money, and which aren’t.
The 2009 Hyundai Genesis has gotten a lot of attention for its design, performance, safety, and overall quality. And that quality resonated: J.D. Power recently named the ’09 Genesis as the #1 launch of 2008.
The Vehicle Launch Index (VLI) compares vehicles that are brand new or completely redesigned, measuring how well they do in their first 8 months on the market. Of the almost 100 different vehicles released in the first 10 months of 2008, the Hyundai Genesis outperformed them all.
First impressions really do make a difference, and the VLI ranking proves that the Hyundai Genesis is every bit as good as it looks. The success of a newly launched vehicle comes from a vehicle being attractive and easy to drive, high quality, appropriately priced with good incentives, and of course, selling well.
J.D. Power’s Vehicle Launch Index confirms what we at Parkway Hyundai already knew: The 2009 Hyundai Genesis (and Genesis Coupe) really do deliver. From power and control to fine-tuned, responsive mechanics—from design to comfort—from style to raw speed, this car is everything drivers are looking for in a luxury-inspired, moderately-priced sedan. Parkway Hyundai is proud to serve as a Valencia, CA, Hyundai Dealer. Serving customers come from the San Fernando Valley, Simi Valley, Bakersfield, Palmdale, and surrounding communities, we’re your family-friendly location for the Hyundai Genesis and many other excellent vehicles.

Looking for the perfect vehicle—the one you love just the way it is, and you’d change nothing about it? The 2009 Hyundai Genesis and 2009 Hyundai Elantra have just gotten this very approval from the people who drive them.
The Genesis and Elantra just earned the honor of “2009 Ideal Vehicles” from AutoPacific. The firm’s Ideal Vehicle Awards (IVA) are determined after surveying thousands of owners how they like their vehicles. They want to know how their cars stack up against their expectations in 15 difference categories.
When the answer to “What would you change about this vehicle?” is virtually “Not a thing!”—that’s when AutoPacific knows they’ve found their leading ideal vehicles for the year.
This year, the 2009 Hyundai Genesis was voted “most ideal” in the category of Aspirational Luxury Car. The ’09 Genesis has been very well received for its power, rear wheel drive platform, and interior quality (in terms of features, comfort, and spaciousness).
The 2009 Hyundai Elantra ranked “most ideal” of all compact cars. Outperforming the Mazda3, Ford Focus, and Kia Spectra, the ’09 Elantra is consistently praised for the amenities, safety features, and roominess it provides at a surprisingly affordable price.
Parkway Motorcars Hyundai is proud to provide these 2009 Ideal Vehicles at our Valencia, CA, Hyundai dealership. Serving the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley, Simi Valley, Bakersfield, and Palmdale /Lancaster areas, Parkway offers brand new and certified pre-owned Hyundai vehicles that are guaranteed to please.

Industry-wide, J.D. Power and Associates are the measure for how good a car really is. As a long time Valencia, CA, Hyundai dealer, Parkway Motorcars is pleased (but not surprised) to see the results of this year’s study.
The category watched most closely is J.D. Power’s “Initial Quality Study,” which surveys over 80,000 real drivers who bought new vehicles this year. J.D. Power has been “The Voice Of The Customer” by conducting extensive studies since 1968.
According to J.D. Power, the categories in the vehicle quality survey include:
In the quality study, Hyundai is the highest ranked non-premium brand, meaning that it has luxury-end quality without the luxury price. In terms of individual vehicles, the 2009 Hyundai Elantra Sedan was the highest quality compact car, and the 2009 Hyundai Accent was a runner-up for highest ranked subcompact car.
Hyundai also did exceptionally well in J.D. Power’s dependability study, which measures the average number of problems reported per 100 vehicles sold, across the life of the vehicle. For 2009, the entire Hyundai brand ranked 13th in long term quality, with 9 less problems than the industry average. The strongest vehicle in the Hyundai lineup was the 2009 Hyundai Elantra.
Hyundai drivers in Santa Monica, Simi Valley, Palmdale, Lancaster, and surrounding communities can find these quality Hyundai vehicles (and take advantage of the industry renown Hyundai factory warranty) at Parkway Motorcar’s Valencia, CA, Hyundai Dealership. We’re proud to provide vehicles that both manufacturer and driver recognize as quality, dependable, and very driver-friendly.
